    Gujarati script is a modified/improved/refined devnagari script.

    Why use horizontal lines on letters/words if not needed?

    Beside Sanskrit/devnagari script which Indian old or current languages or world languages use horizontal lines to make words more cluttered in appearance?

    Sanskrit language used horizontal lines for grammatical lengthy meaningful words.

    India needs a simple national language script which all can learn and write easily and that's Gujarati script.

    One may visit Google and find out Which Indian language script is simple in learning and writing.

    If we can write Hindi in English why not in Gujarati?

    પ્રિય સરલ હિંદી,

    તમારી બાત ખબર પડી. આજ ની હિંદી ગુજરાતી લિપિ ને 20 બરસ આગે છે. મારે બચપણ માં હિદી આજની ગુજરરરાતી તરહ લિખી જાવી છિએ. આમા આજી બહુ ફર્ક આવી ગયા. તમેં આ ખબર છિએ કિ નહીં મને ખબર નથી પણ આ સાચૂ છે. ઈ બાબત મને તમારા તર્ક ભાવતા નથી.મને આજ ભી હિંદી ગુજરાતી ભાષા થી આગડ઼ લગે છે.

    મૈં ગુજરાતી ભાષી તી હોવા બાબત મારી ગુજરાતી માંગલતી હોવી સકે.

    એક આડ઼ી લકીર ની નામે તમે હિદી બાવતા નથી કાંઈ કરી શકત નઈ.

    સરલ હિંદી...

    હિંદી ભાષા નૂં ગુજરાતી લિપી માં લિખીએ યદિ સંપ્રેષણ કરી સકો કાંઈ વાંદા નથી, પણ આ ગુજરાતી ભાષિયોં માટે સારૂ રહે છે.

    પણ આ હિંદી ની રિપ્લેસમેંટ હોવા મને સારૂ નથી લાગે છે.

    The easy way to learn Gujarati script is to convert the script.

    દોહરા યમ

    બરસોં સો ચરિતાર્થ હો રહી ,
    જિસકી લાઠી, ઉસકી ભૈંસ,
    હાથ મેરે તલવાર આ ગઈ,
    ઔર રહ ગયા અબ ક્યા શેષ ?


    અપને પરિજન કી લાશોં પર ,
    મૈં ભી મહલ બનાઊંગા,
    જલ ક્યોં અબ મૈં ખૂન પિઊંગા,
    માઁસ ભૂન કર ખાઊઁગા.

    કીચડ઼ મેં મૈં સના હુઆ હૂઁ,
    પંકજ સે મૈં ક્યા કમ હૂઁ ?
    બ્રહ્મા, વિષ્ણુ, મહેશ સમઝ ના !!!
    મૈં તો બસ દોહરા યમ હૂઁ.
